Brian & Merissa Lenhardt Owners, Fat Boys Tire & Auto

Brian and Merissa Lenhardt purchased the family business in 2024. They have been together for over 15 years and married since 2017. Together, they are raising four energetic children, ages 19 to 9 — three girls and one boy. Their oldest is attending college and has joined the military, their second oldest is preparing to graduate high school, and their two youngest are active in competitive gymnastics and baseball.  If the business doesn’t keep them busy enough there kids sure do!

Merissa left her medical career to join Brian in running the business. With little knowledge of tires or automotive work, she embraced the challenge and committed herself to learning what Brian’s family had built. She quickly came to appreciate the values that the Lenhardt family established in the community from the early 1960s through today. She built a solid foundation upon just that and the rest has been history.

Her drive, dedication, and willingness to adapt have made her not only successful in healthcare, but also in the world of tires. Today, she has found her groove and is a major force behind Fat Boys growth.

Fun fact: Merissa has three dogs and one cat. Her favorite thing to do to pass time is read, read, and read more…
